Route 4 - Mojave Road

This route goes from Route 7 at Barstow to historic Fort Mojave on the Colorado River and is referred to as the Mojave Road. It follows the actual route of the 1800’s Old Government Road with the exception Piute Canyon that is closed to vehicles. You can take a side trip to the site of old Fort Piute.
