Route 1 - Mexico to Oregon

This route basically follows the coast range from Mexico to Oregon with the exception of the central part of the state where there is no public land and no dirt roads. The route includes two of the three marked sections, one in Angeles National Forest and one along the north coast. Sections through San Bernardino and Angeles National Forests have some temporary bypasses because of the 2003 fires. The section form Maricopa to San Luis Obispo has also not been recorded yet nor has the marked section along the north coast.
